Delete a merchant workspace

If a merchant no longer needs their workspace, you can permanently delete it. This action removes the workspace, including its associated data and member access.

Before you begin

Ensure you meet the following prerequisites:

• You have the Workspace Admin role in your workspace.
• The merchant workspace has no active mini programs. All mini program versions must have a status other than Grayscale Release or Full Release.
• The merchant workspace has no pending workspace deletion or workspace update requests. Complete the review for any such requests.

Tip: If the merchant has already submitted a workspace deletion request, approve that request instead of deleting the workspace yourself.

Procedure

To delete a merchant workspace, take the following steps:

1. Log in to Mini Program Platform and navigate to your workspace.
2. In the left navigation panel, click Workspace.
3. Select the Developer Workspaces tab.
4. Locate the merchant workspace you want to delete. You can use the search tool in the Partner Name column heading to find it quickly.
5. In the confirmation dialog, follow the on-screen instructions to type the name of the workspace to be deleted.
6. Click Delete.

A success message appears, and the merchant workspace is permanently deleted.
